PROFESSIONAL MICRODERMABRASION PROCESS

Using an advanced form of exfoliation, microdermabrasion reveals a new, healthier layer of skin that heals and replaces the old dead skin and its flaws. The procedure, which lasts around 30 minutes to an hour, involves the use of a machine that blows a continuous thread of tiny crystals to break up the stratum corneum – the topmost layer of dead skin where fine wrinkles and some other imperfections occur. A vacuum simultaneously suctions up the tiny crystal particles along with the dead skin, revealing the layer underneath.

The body then works to replace the missing layer of skin with a newer, healthier one that feels smoother and looks clearer. Microdermabrasion can be combined with a light chemical peel to increase the effect. To achieve the best results possible, five to twelve treatments are suggested, about two or three weeks apart.

There is almost no risk of adverse side effects with microdermabrasion.
