LIPOSUCTION OF NECK AND JOWLS PROCEDURE AND RECOVERY

Dr. Emilio Justo performs liposuction of the neck and jowls in his outpatient surgical center* using local tumescent anesthesia. The procedure requires a small incision under the chin where the excess fat is gently suctioned. Typically, this procedure requires less than one hour to perform.

As with most liposuction procedures you will experience some initial discomfort, swelling and bruising. Within a few weeks they will dissipate. Also, Dr. Justo advises you to wear an elastic neck sling to aid in your recovery and maximize the results.
