FOREHEAD AND BROW LIFT SURGERY AND RECOVERY

An advanced surgical procedure used for a forehead and brow lift is endoscopic surgery. Using this technique, small one-half-inch to one-inch incisions are skillfully placed behind the hairline. An endoscopic forehead and brow lift is a good surgical option as it is less invasive and produces excellent results.

Dr. Emilio Justo performs his forehead/brow lifts in his outpatient surgery center*, under intravenous sedation administered by the anesthetist. Typically, Dr. Justo takes one hour to perform the forehead and brow lift surgery. With an endoscopic brow lift, since there are only small incisions made near the hairline your recovery time is reduced with minimal scarring. Remember, since the incisions are made in your hairline, they aren’t visible.

Most patients resume normal activities in a couple of days, and are back to work within 5 to 10 days. Strenuous exertion, which increases your blood pressure, should be avoided for about two weeks, along with prolonged exposure to heat or the sun.
