Dr. Justo is proud to be one of the few surgeons using the most modern technique of cataract removal known as "No-Stitch, No-Needle, No-Patch Cataract Surgery." This technique allows patients to return home after a 15-minute procedure without a patch and resume physical activity such as bending and lifting immediately after surgery.
Dr. Justo is on the leading edge of modern-day cataract surgical techniques, utilizing foldable intraocular lens implant technology since 1989, thereby alleviating the need for sutures. Dr. Justo was also the first eye surgeon in Arizona to use the STAAR TORIC intraocular lens implant in 1998, the first FDA-approved lens implant which corrects astigmatism at the same time as the cataract surgery.
